Christmas is right around the corner and time is not slowing down by any means! Though things are looking quite different for a lot of us this year, I have personally tried my best to maintain a sense of normalcy and do everything I can to get myself in the spirit. Despite all of the changes, hardships, and restrictions overall, I cannot ignore all of the things I have to be grateful for. This year, because so many of us will be spending the holidays from the comfort of our own homes, I wanted to create festive looks that were both comfortable and a bit casual. I have been a fan of sweater dresses for quite some time and I have no doubt that they will remain a closet staple for years to come. Especially in the colder months, they are probably the most effective garment for looking put-together with minimal effort. I recently purchased this grey frock and was instantly pleased with the softness of the fabric, fit, and classic fitted turtleneck style. With such a simple piece to anchor the overall ensemble, I knew I could play up the accessories to really convey those celebratory, holiday vibes. Since I’ve recently moved, I have stumbled across a lot of items in my closet that I forgot I even owned; to my surprise, this faux fur vest was one of them! I remember getting it at least 3 years ago from a consignment shop and absolutely falling in love! The ombre black and white color scheme and texture truly made this a chic showstopper that I knew would be perfect to elevate my look. With nearly 75% of my outfit complete, I knew that accessories would be the icing on this Christmas cake! While rummaging through my old statement jewelry collection, I found this gorgeous silver necklace fully composed of rhinestones and layered chains. This was absolutely the piece I needed to complete my Winter glam look, and to finish it off, I added my favorite croc embossed leather booties. Whether planning to stay at home or traveling to celebrate with loved ones, this is absolutely an outfit I would wear to ring in the festivities. Comment below your favorite featured piece and until next time!

While I absolutely love dressing up for any occasion, especially the holidays, I wanted to style a few more casual options for this year’s festivities considering most celebrations will be small at-home gatherings. Though I haven’t really stocked up on tons of loungewear during the pandemic, I have added a few new sweat suits to my collection. This one in particular is by far the most “formal” due to its neoprene fabric which makes it much more substantial and structured than my cotton options. When it comes to my personal style, one of my favorite things to do is pair casual and dressier items together. Whether it be a band t-shirt, denim, or an old pair of sneakers, this juxtaposition is always one that I tend to gravitate towards. For me, it was a no-brainer that I’d be styling this basic co-ord with a sleek pair of heels. I had actually purchased these satin beauties about 2 years ago for NYE and they still bring me joy every time I wear them! Despite being extremely comfortable, the bow detail across the toe strap always incorporates a cute feminine touch. Once I had these items styled I knew I would need a few more pieces to complete this look. I had recently purchased a new coat for the season which featured an abstract hounds-tooth print. In my opinion, this was the perfect outer layer for the ensemble because it made a classic yet bold statement, against the other black garments. For additional texture, I dusted off and threw on an old quilted chain link bag. I always love bringing new life to items in my closet that I may have forgotten about or took a break from wearing. Lastly, to top off the holiday vibes, I added a bright red lip and was ready to celebrate from the comfort of my own home! Comment below if despite the restrictions you still plan to get fully glam, or if you’re choosing to tone it down this year due to the current circumstances. Until next time!

There’s nothing like a huge blanket scarf to keep you warm on those brisk Winter days. Though we are not going outside as much as usual, scarves are still by far one of my favorite cold weather accessories! Below I’ve rounded up a few different styles that have caught my eye and could definitely make easy transitions into your wardrobe. Finding beauty in the midst of chaos can sometimes feel like an impossible task, but that is exactly what the holidays represent for me this season. Though it would be extremely easy to sit back and dwell on the negative, times like this give us the opportunity to focus on all that we have instead of the hardships that have caused great loss. Personally, I am choosing to end this year on a positive note and I feel incredibly blessed to still have my family, health, and a place to call home. Like most people, I love seeing all of the beautiful decorations and festive inspired décor. That aside, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t prefer more modern takes rather than just the traditional red and green color scheme. When my photographer and I stumbled across this storefront, I knew it was the perfect backdrop to compliment my look! The lush shrubbery and blush tones could not have been a better accent to this neutral Winter ensemble. Sweater dresses are an absolute staple during the colder months and I had seen this one floating around social media on more than one occasion. To my surprise when curating a list of seasonal wardrobe essentials, I noticed it was back in stock and jumped at the opportunity to purchase it. Despite going outside less than ever before, I have also been getting tons of wear out of these cream, knee-high boots this year. I’ve had them going on three years now and am pleased to say that they have held up like a dream! To tie these pieces together, I threw on my newest scarf which I was certain I’d get my cost per wear out of from the moment I saw it online. The versatility alone and dual print, which allows me to wear it on either side, makes it a suitable accessory for almost any ensemble. Finally, to complete this outfit, I threw on my favorite blazer for optimal warmth and a pair of statement gold earrings with peal accents. I could easily see myself wearing this look for a casual, intimate holiday gathering with friends and/or family featuring games, movies, and delicious treats! Comment below your favorite piece that was styled and until next time!

There’s something about the tones and color palettes during this time of year that truly warm my spirit. Whether you’re a lover of light neutrals, warm shades of brown, or just prefer to stick to a classic black ensemble, all of these combinations represent my favorite cozy season! For this look, I wanted to try to create the ultimate autumnal outfit which consisted of elements from each of the categories previously listed. Like everyone else, I have been obsessed with shades of chocolate and caramel since before Fall even began. In addition to that, I feel like I’ve been collecting every knitwear piece on the market which has been both exciting yet concerning for my wallet, LOL! While I typically end up unintentionally purchasing a few of my ensemble pieces together, every item in this look was added to my wardrobe on a completely separate occasion. Surprisingly, this time around, I had all of my accessories first. The sunglasses and heels had been in my closet for quite some time, but the bag was a newer find. From the moment I saw it online with it’s rich color and quilted texture, I knew it would be the perfect seasonal staple. I had also been eyeing up a pair of brown leather trousers that were unfortunately sold out in my size. Though it took me some convincing, I decided to settle on the black pair and I could not have made a better decision! Aside from being buttery soft, the seam details and fit are an absolute dream! The cut-out knit top was one of the last garments to complete this ensemble and though it definitely worked, I still felt like something was missing to tie everything together. At the last minute I remembered that I had been gifted a cream denim “shacket” and it was the very piece I was looking for. The tortoise buttons accentuated the bag and the overall color provided balance since the bottom half of the outfit was so dark. In my opinion, I would definitely say I succeeded in curating the perfect chic Autumn look! Comment below if you would wear this outfit and for what occasion. Until next time!

The evolution of leather pieces in fashion seem to constantly evolve. From matte to vinyl, coated, and snake-print, this fabric has truly become quite the transformative wardrobe staple. I think I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that contrast makes every outfit better! Whether it be light vs dark colors, dainty vs rigid fabrics or masculine vs feminine elements; incorporating some kind of juxtaposition always creates dimension and interest. I’ve styled a few slip dresses already this year, and though I didn’t intend to buy any more, this one was extremely hard to resist! Though some may have easily brushed it off as not being “weather appropriate,” I saw a beautiful opportunity for layering. For this styling session, I wanted to pair it with pieces that were on the complete opposite side of the spectrum, leaving the frock to be the focal point for movement and softer undertones. I actually purchased this cropped sweater the same day I got the dress with no intention of pairing them together. However, after doing a few laps around the store and seeing how well they complimented each other in my hands, I knew I had to give it a try! Another recent buy were my chelsea boots, which have easily become my favorite shoe of the season. Though I am typically a heel girl, I wanted to give this chunky footwear trend a chance and to my surprise ended up with one of the flattest versions I’ve seen on the market! I absolutely love their sleek design which allows them to mesh well with any ensemble, as well as the squared off toe which gives a very timeless yet luxe designer feel. Since adding these beauties to my wardrobe, I wear them every chance I get! Finally, to tie everything together, I added a black crossbody bag which managed to adhere to the casual theme while still adding some decorative elements with the shiny silver hardware. I loved how this look turned out and beyond that, am thrilled with how each piece can worn in a variety of ways. Comment below your favorite item featured and until next time!
