As fashion week continues and the energy continues to surge, here’s what to expect: more shows, more running around, and more outfit changes. My only piece of advice would be to live in the moment and take everything you can from the experiences because before you know it, it will all be over and the purpose of getting dressed will be slightly less exciting. I wanted a relaxed yet striking look for this particular day, so I went with the ever-so-popular Calvin Klein sports bra and a fringe mini, both of which are highly on trend. To keep the simplicity I threw on my single strap mules, and baby blue leather jacket (which I have featured before) for a nice pop of color to end the summer.

As we know, I am definitely a heel-girl and though they are not always the most practical, they certainly can help you stand out. With that being said though, if you don’t have the luxury of having a chauffeur I would strongly advise a comfortable pair of shoes because the city streets will definitely take a toll. Since the 70’s trend and all things “fringe” are very popular at the moment, I paired these playful heels with an abstract printed frock for a more sophisticated and chic look. Remember, during fashion week it’s all about making a statement so strut like you mean it and stop traffic!

For my last day of NYFW festivities, I made my rounds in Soho then checked out a few shows at Milk Studios. Though we got a late start and the sun was going down, I felt completely satisfied with all that I had seen during this hectic week. In my backless button up and striped trousers I felt incredibly comfortable and stylish for this final evening. Surviving New York fashion week is definitely something I can check off of my bucket list and I am beyond excited for what next year brings. So long for now.
