With the change in seasons also comes the change in nature’s colors, and being a Fall baby, I absolutely love the beauty and richness that appears during this time of year. It seems like as soon as the temperatures begin to drop and “sweater weather” is in full effect, there is a coziness that fills the air that I personally cannot resist. This longing for comfort and warmth presents itself through garments, signature beverages, and of course the ever-changing leaves. To be honest, I have never been a fan of brown clothing or sweatsuits for that matter. However, when I saw this co-ord online there was something about it that really drew me in and instantly, I knew I had to have it! As we should all know by now, contrast is my thing; so upon receiving these pieces, I knew this was an outfit that I would pair with heels. After trying a few different color combinations, I finally decided to stick with the neutral color palette and opted for my favorite tan mules. To compliment this further, I also incorporated my structured box bag featuring tortoise shell detailing. I absolutely loved how each item made its own statement and how the boldness of the ensemble really embodied what I think of when it comes to Autumnal dressing. To complete this fairly monochrome look, I figured gold jewelry would be the best fit as well as a pair of matching sunnies that truly tied everything together seamlessly. Whether with or without a jacket, this is definitely the type of look that will have me ready to take on the whatever the next few months have in store! Comment below your favorite item, if you’re a fan of jogger sets, and how you would style them. Until next time!

Every now and then I get intrigued by just how versatile my style can be. I truly don’t consider myself as being particularly “girly,” but occasionally I find myself drawn to pieces that are more on the feminine side and I can’t help but filter them into my wardrobe. For instance this dress; it’s simply GORGEOUS! I had honestly never seen such a stunning shade of lavender and though this piece did come off a bit “night-gownish,” I threw caution to the wind and decided to give it a try! I actually purchased this garment during the early Spring season and realized it was either now or next year when I would have the opportunity to wear it again. I feel like I’ve been describing a lot of my looks as “effortless” lately, but with quarantine being our new reality, even the idea of getting dressed has become a process I haven’t felt like putting a lot of thought and time into. For this particular outfit, I figured color-blocking would be an interesting approach to styling such a vibrant frock. I added a pair of pale yellow asymmetric mules and layered with a thin white shirt which provided even more movement and texture on this warm, breezy day. I completed the ensemble with a few silver pieces of jewelry and used a bouquet of flowers that my photographer so unexpectedly brought me as an impromptu accessory, which just so happened to match perfectly! This is definitely a look that can take you from day to night, to the boardwalk and back to the city. Comment below your thoughts on these pieces and if you would consider styling any of them as we head into the next season. Until next time!

As we make our way through the final Summer months, the excitement of new trends begin to fill my mind and my style becomes more minimal as I prepare for my favorite layering season. I personally love this look because it is absolutely effortless yet still weather appropriate and chic! Biker shorts are still proving to be a closet essential and though I don’t own many pairs, they definitely come in handy on those super casual days. I chose to balance the spandex with an over-sized striped poplin shirt which really ensured my comfort level was on 1000! While I could have maintained the overall simplicity with a sneaker or flat shoe, this seemed like the perfect opportunity for a statement heel; and lucky for me, I had just bought some. These strappy nude sandals featuring a bright blue bubble heel, instantly elevated this outfit and truly made me feel like I was walking on a piece of art. For those who know me, outerwear, shoes, and accessories (specifically sunglasses and handbags) are typically where I implement the “wow factor” in most of my looks and this one was no exception! To finish off the ensemble I grabbed an old ring handle bag and a few gold pieces of jewelry to coordinate with its hardware. For one last subtle yet unexpected twist, I threw on a pair of tortoise cat-eye sunglasses instead of a black style, as I felt that they highlighted the warmth in the outfit, despite my cool-toned top being a focal piece. Needless to say, I’m ready to give my Autumnal wardrobe a bit of a refresh and break out those knits and blazers that have been hiding in the back of my closet. Can you believe we’re more than half way through 2020?!?!! Comment below what you’re looking forward to most during the upcoming season, and until next time!

The main idea behind this outfit was minimalism. I wanted to play with neutrals and focus on clean lines and simple pieces. The fact that it was a little cloudy this day actually worked in my favor because it allowed for the clothes to stand out against my overall grey surroundings. I liked that each photo had little to nothing going on in the background and you could really see the juxtaposition of empty space and a single figure. I don’t have too much to say about this post, but I guess that works in this case.
